In order to deal with the wireless network capacity gap, the FCC Chairman as well as various other industry leaders at CTIA were suggesting that we don't just need new spectrum but also need much better utilization of the existing resources; e.g., optimization of the networks!   According to Osmo Hautanen, this is clearly an opportunity for Magnolia Broadband's Mobile Transmit Diversity beam forming technology to provide a much needed remedy to wireless network operators coverage, capacity and performance issues.
